How Great Thou Art
Verse 1
O Lord my God
When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds
Thy hands have made,
I see the stars,
I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout
The universe displayed!
Refrain
Then sings my soul,
My Savior God, to Thee;
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul,
My Savior God, to Thee;
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!
Phil’s Verse
When at the grave-
Side of a friend I wonder
“Why does this life
lie wasted in its prime?”
Then I recall,
The Lord our God is sovereign
His purposes
Transcend all space and time
Verse 4
When Christ shall come
With shout of acclamation
And take me home,
What joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow
In humble adoration
And there proclaim,
My God, how great Thou art!

What a beautiful memorial service may God continue to work in you, Sheila as you move forward in your life with watching over and guiding every step you take may you feel his presence? May God richly bless you and the children and may the legacy continue?
There are three people I have lost that have left such an overwhelming emptiness in my life…My younger brother George Lampshire,. Mary Keaton, a precious friend for 20 years and faithful Office Manager….And Phil Morton. Phil was my “quiet Assassin”. He had a way of coming up with such funny things at the most unexpected moments!! I have shed many tears over each of these three, but I also know that all three are now at home with their Lord Jesus…Phil say hi to George and Mary…I’m sure Jesus has already let them know how precious you were to me
Rest in piece neighbor!
Sheila,
What a beautiful service! Thank you so much for sharing! Phil is right, Jesus is the most important relationship to have in one’s life! You and your family will be in my continued prayers as you miss, you grieve and you keep Phil’s memories in your hearts and share God’s love, peace and comfort with one another!
